VPS server technology has come a long way in the last few years. It seems everybody is offering visualization as a product and most have cloud based services as a big part of their range.
I've spent some time evaluating a few of the bigger VPS services and I'm impressed with performance and value for money.
Rackspace MyCloud offers VPS Cloud systems for as little as $15 a month with the usual minimum Memory of 512MB and 20GB Hard drive allocation. The support seems very good as I was helped out initially by staff when I first purchased my account. The test system I have been running has been stressed and performed really well.
I certainly recommend Rackspace to anyone looking for a budget priced VPS.
